Teaching 2 Dorks is HELL.
it's finally the HOLIDAYS!
yes i know. the June holidays started 2 weeks ago.
but for all Secondary 4s. it just started.
we had another 2 weeks of school while everyone else was having their relaxing break.
well, i guess we've got to take some & lose some.
to get good results for our O Levels we've got to sacrifice some of our leisure time.
these are how things work in this world.
this is reality.
anyway. since i moved to teckwhye. and am so near to those 2 dorks' house.
my mom & uncle told me to go over to teach them.
and i felt more at home then being here. speaking the complete truth alrights!
well, i could study more and complete more homework there then here.
over here, the TV is practically on the whole day.
especially during the night. the time when i absorb the most knowledge.
it's on all the way till 3AM in the morning.
gosh. this is going to kill me during my PRELIMS revision days.
back to the topic
i went over to teach 2 dorks.
taught one Maths while the other Science.
honestly! i didnt know that Secondary 2s have started learning Chemistry.
i dont mean those dumb things that we learn.
i mean more advance things. like Atomic Structure.
when i was there. ying was getting lectured by his dad for his too-short answers. "Lazy do!"
swore i could have strangled him on the spot.
because of this. it was my turn to lecture him. so yeah.. lecture lecture lecture.
then he was finally willing to do.
i saw he was stuck at this MCQ for a very long time.
so i asked whats wrong. and he told me dont understand. dont know how to do.
and "FLOP" he lay down on his bed again.
took me so long to get him to sit up and do his work.
and because of one goddamn MCQ he flop back onto his bed.
$#^%($#*%^%$#&_*
i wasnt going to give up that easily.
so i started to teach him. glad he has a HIGH IQ.
he neednt me to repeat my words alot of times and he could catch the ball easily.
that was one good thing. but the bad thing was.
he has the tendency to flop back on his bed while i'm talking halfway.
then i've got to screech at him to sit up again.
i'm seriously surprised that i didnt get a sore throat the next day.
i scribbled the explanations all over his homework!
well, before teaching this dork.
i had hell out of the time teaching the other one Math.
asking him to do his Math homework takes a great deal out of me.
first you've got to sweet-talk to him.
if he refuses to listen then you lecture him.
if he still refuses then you've got to shout at him.
the last resort threaten to destroy the computer.
the FINAL resort. his dad. trust me.
honestly. i'd be dead by the time he gets his work out.
i can even barely get him to sit down.
keeps turning all around in that chair of his.
it's really hell-time. but still.
i had my fun overall.
with all the "MAI LAME" from ying. & nonsense from hao.
the world is fair in certain things afterall.
reality reality reality.
no more thoughts of fantasies for me.
i've got to face reality.
i've got to work hard to achieve what i want.
or they'll simply "fly away" from my reach.
think positive. be optimistic. shoo to all the negative!
