Launched by DUCK & HiPPO group, the Singapore GOURMETbus is a new dining experience entering Singapore's F&B market, and it is coincidentally the first of its kind in Asia.
The all-purpose-built double decker bus is in fact a fine dining restaurant — sans a kitchen due to safety reasons — encased in a luxury tour coach that would travel around the city district of Singapore while providing its diners with exquisite food and the best window seats to all the beautiful sights in our lovely red dot.

A two-course meal from a fixed menu will be served, followed by a hop-off intermission at Gardens by the Bay. En route key sights include the Singapore Flyer, Esplanade, Merlion Park, National Gallery Singapore and Marina Bay Sands.
The GOURMETbus package offers guests a choice between their lunch and dinner show, with each lasting approximately two hours. They aim to tantalise the taste buds of their guests with delicious local cuisine prepared by the famous Cantonese-inspired restaurant, Soup Restaurant, and unique Indo-Chinese cuisine creator, IndoChine Group.

Besides offering visitors a new way to enjoy Singapore, the GOURMETbus is also a highly versatile venue that can be used for a wide range of corporate charter and personalised needs.
The double decker coach is equipped with 14 projectors (each table equipped with one), wireless speaker microphones, sound system and Wi-Fi access.
It can fit up to 34 guests at any one point in time:
- 2 diners on lower deck (wheelchair accessibility for 1 pax),
- 12 pax free sitting at lounge on lower deck,
- 32 pax on upper deck
This makes the GOURMETbus an ideal space of choice for organisations that require on-site meetings at a specific location, or a mobile platform to host differentiated corporate events — such as networking sessions, small-scale appreciation dinners to seminars and product launches.
For less formal events, the GOURMETbus can also double up as an exclusive venue that offers the host and the guests with privacy for their special events, with the links of birthday parties, a hen/stag night, solemnisation ceremonies or engagement receptions.
If you are thinking that this program is too tourist-y and unsuitable for local citizens or permanent residents, well you are so wrong!
There is now another unique place for locals to bring their loved ones for that special occasion *hint: wedding proposals* and you can enjoy the skyline from the top deck of the coach and see our beloved city from a different viewpoint!
The GOURMETbus is open daily except for Sunday. Tim Sum Lunch is from 1pm to 3pm at $57++/pax, and Indo-Chinese Dinner is from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at $97++/pax.
